Bridal Photo Shoot: Mark+Missy

Image
Bridal Shoot in southern Utah Here's is Part Two of my fun and fast photo-fest with Mark and Missy.  We shot their bridal portraits the afternoon after their engagement shots.  We chose an empty world outside of the city for these shots.  The true nothing-ness surrounding them gives an exotic feel.

Engagement Session with Mark+Missy

Image
Groom and Bride at their engagement session I had a great time shooting an engagement session with two wonderful people:  Mark and Missy.  We shot here in downtown St. George.  Although Mark had a broken foot at the time, he was a great sport and happily tried anything asked of him.  Aren't they beautiful?

Canon 85mm f/1.2 L Lens: Portrait Perfect

Headshot portraits are out of this world with the Canon 85mm f/1.2 L lens Portrait photography is an opportunity that every serious photographer will face at one point or another.  Friends and family know how serious I am about photography and ask about getting their photos taken.  This is always a wonderful opportunity and I look at it as a very enjoyable service.  I also hope to do the best possible and provide a professional portrait as good as anything they could obtain anywhere. Italian Romance in Photography

Image
Italian Lovers Italy has a very romantic location.  The ocean, the sunlight and the warm water all bring out the romantic side in people.  I remember having a wonderful day in the Cinque Terre with my wife as we hiked from town to town 17 years ago.  When we returned for this trip with 3 children in tow, it was easy to see that the romantic setting remained the same. At the edge of the sea, at the breakwater of Riomaggiore, this couple was enjoying the wonderful setting.  They were quite oblivious to everyone else around them.  I thought it might make a romantic shot with them, the rocks and the ocean.  The wonderful sunlight reflecting off the waves highlights everything.
